We have a new venue and new timeslot. 333 King Street is just opposite Fitness First, which is just next to Newtown station. We are in Studio 3 on Level 1.

We found the cafe in Glebe just too noisy and hard to hear, so this venue is private and much easier to work in. However, that does mean there will be a $5 charge per person to cover costs.

I was hoping you could give me a Tarot Reading. I feel as though my whole Life has fallen apart and everything I have planned has turned upside down.  I recently broke up with My Fiance, the man who I thought I would spend the rest of my life with and made future plans together, and they are are now shattered and I am left feeling lost.  I am not happy in my current work situation and have finished a Diploma but can’t get any work in the industry.  Do you see anything in store for me? Hi Samantha,

It does sound like you are going through a rough time in your life at that moment.  With regard to your Fiance, if he was the one for you, nothing would have stopped it from happening. Your Higher Self knew it wasn’t the right situation for you and that there was someone out there better for you.  The cards coming up for you are the 7 of Pentacles and The Empress - relating to worries around your security and future children in regard to relationships.  I can assure you that the right man is on the way and I see him as a taller man with dark hair and I see two children with you both, a boy and a girl.

The King of Swords and The Sun come up in relation to your career question and it is clear that you WILL find fulfilling work in your desired area.  It may take a few more months but I feel you will have this issue settled by the end of the year.  The King of Swords can also relate to teaching, education and training so perhaps your career will be in a related field or you will do some further study yourself.  I am sensing that you have some talent in this area.

I pulled one further card for you and we got The High Priestess.  You have come into this life with a very specific spiritual purpose. Anything that does not pan out means it was not for your highest good and would take you away from your purpose. Helping others is a strong part of your purpose, as well as becoming stronger within ourself. The High Priestess is also a teacher so I wonder if this is a further hint for you in this area.

22 weeks might seem like a long time but chances are we’ll barely scratch the surface. The study of Tarot opens a door a new Universe. Something about working with Tarot, whether you delve into its esoteric aspects or not, will propel you into a higher level of consciousness and psychic awareness. You will see your own soul reflected in the Tarot and as your understanding of one grows, so grows the other.

We will also be doing some exercises to develop psychic senses and those who are so inclined will find that the daily practice of Qabalistic rituals such as the LBRP (or it’s variants), Middle Pillar etc will help them assimilate the material and develop this aspect of themselves.

Qabalah underpins the Western Mystery Tradition and is the foundation of magickal theory and practice but if you’re eyes are already glazing over rest assured there’s nothing boring or difficult about it.

The Qabalistic Tree of Life is a perfect map of the human psyche and you’ll recognise yourself in every aspect of it. It’s the perfect tool for personal and spiritual growth and Tarot makes it very easy to grasp.

You will need to get your own Thoth deck. It comes in a couple of different sizes. The larger one is good for studying the images, but the smaller one is easier to handle. A magnifying glass might help too as the cards are packed full of symbols that can be hard to see if you don’t have great vision.

I recommend you get ‘The Thoth Companion’ by Michael Osiris Snuffin as well as the ‘Book of Thoth’ by Aleister Crowley. If you only get one to start with, get the Snuffin book because it’s easier to understand.

I have had several readings with you and i have never come across such a great reader as you! I wanted to know an answer to one question…What will happen with me and a new male in my life named Abraham?

The card that comes up in relation to this question is the four of Swords which indicates a temporary situation.  I’m also getting the feeling that there may be someone else he is tied to in some way.

I asked if there was someone else coming soon who would be a long term partner and the answer was the 2 of Cups, which is called ‘Love’.  So the answer is that I don’t think Abraham is the one for you, but the real thing is not far away.

I am wanting to know some info about where my life is heading and this guy james (ex lover) i kind of regret ending it very conected to him but he became distant and it was to hard he lives interstate.  I’m wanting to know if I will ever see him again?

Thanks for the questions!  In relation to your life direction, the cards I drew are the 9 of Wands, Ace of Swords and The Fool.  The 9 of Wands suggests you have a great deal of energy that you need to put into something so you are probably feeling very hampered and hemmed in by your current circumstances.  The Ace of Swords relates to beginning something new that relates to the mind, so I suggest beginning a new course of study (I’m especially picking up something relating to health or medicine) and finally The Fool shows us that you are ready to embark on a new journey in your life, even though it may be a little risky or the outcome uncertain.  Nothing ventured, nothing gained.  Make a decision, stick with it and the world will by your oyster.

Regarding James, I don’t see the connection between the two of you disappearing, but there is someone else coming into your life as a potential life partner and this man will be very reliable and dependable.  I think you will meet him through work or study but not until Spring 2010.

1. Career - You seem to be bored and unhappy in your work, feeling as though you are going nowhere.  Your efforts seem to be wasted and you aren’t seeing real outcomes.  A job offer is possible around March which will take you in a direction that will ultimately be more fulfilling .  The first job may not seem like it, but it will lead to another one that will be more to your liking.  The action you need to take is to connect or network with people you know - the job offer is most likely to come through someone you know. You seem reluctant to do this but do your best.  Also, your Guides are telling me that you really need to get a number of projects or uncompleted tasks finished up in order to free up your energy at work and also that you have the opportunity to off load or delegate some of your responsibilities, but you feel it’s not worth the trouble.

2.  Your love life - there is a dark haired man coming back into your life in February.  THis is someone you had a chance with in the past but due to ‘youth and inexperience’ and a good dose of paranoia, it never went anywhere.  I don’t think this will be a long lasting relationship but I think it will leave you feeling better about relationships more confident about the future.  Presently you seem to be looking for comfort and love where there is none to be had.
